If you have an important pitch to present or want to get over your fear of public speaking, Kristin Link can help you succeed. We worked together to create a brand identity that is sincere and refined and representative of the outcome of Kristin's work with her clients. I also designed a website that contains more information about her business, Link Coaching
Starting your own fitness studio can be an overwhelming venture. Ashley Selman is passionate about helping independent trainers and studio owners across the country build successful businesses. She draws on her own personal experiences running a successful studio for the past 10 years. Achieving this success is due in large part to her independent, maverick attitude. She asked me to create an identity that captured this characteristic. The logotype is hand-lettered in a modern, calllgraphic style.
There's Always an Occasion for Baklava! Oasis Baklava in Sunnyvale uses fresh, high-quality, local ingredients to bake up their mouth-watering Middle Eastern sweets. I helped the new owners re-brand and re-package as well as develop a new product line for resale in markets and coffee shops. Development of the new product line included intensive research into food packaging and marketing. I was asked to design packaging for a single piece of baklava that would create a clean and enjoyable customer experience. Additionally, I designed marketing packets, sell sheets and outer boxes to compliment this new product line.
In 2013 I created a new design for Los Altos School District's Annual Accountability Report to the Community. Since that time, I have consistently updated cover art and copy for each consecutive year's report. The original idea was to create a piece which delivered data to the surrounding area's tax payers. The design sought to be simple, easy to digest and to appear frugal in nature, therefore I was asked to keep colors at a minimum. In 2017, I suggested adding an additional color giving the piece a fresh new feel.
Finding the best fitting job can be challenging. If you want to gain the skills & confidence needed to present yourself in the most effective way during your career search process, Karr Consulting can help.

Austin Creek Elementary School in Santa Rosa holds an annual walkathon fundraiser. I was asked to help out by providing graphics that captured the 2016 theme: CAMP AUSTIN CREEK. Collateral included digital design, t-shirt design, individual icon graphics.
For over 25 years, Los Altos Community Foundation has helped the residents of Los Altos and neighboring cities work together to build a strong community. By offering a multitude of ways for businesses and residents to give back, they continue to provide services to locals in need.
I helped establish a complimentary color palette for their brand. I also designed a 25 year icon for use during their twenty five year celebration campaign as well as other marketing materials such as newspaper ads, letterhead + envelopes editable and printable from MS Word, flyers, and more.
Farm to Lunch is an educational program started by Living Classroom in the Mountain View Whisman School District. The program gives elementary students the opportunity to grow, harvest and eat their own food. I was asked to create an identity for the program as well as various print collateral including menu templates, banners and posters. Hand drawn detailing can be seen in the logo as well as the custom pattern.
Dishdash is a family-owned Middle Eastern restaurant in Sunnyvale. It is also a local Bay Area favorite and made the list of Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in the US for 2016. I have worked with the owners for the last 6 years developing their fine dining restaurant brand, Dishdash, as well as their casual cuisine brand, Dish n Dash. I directed the design of their current logotypes as well as the menu layouts, storefront signage, business cards and various collateral for their websites.
This event was organized by a high school philanthropic club called water by youth. Their mission is to raise awareness in the local community of the global water crisis. The 5 Gallon Gala was a fundraiser as well as a celebration of the club's continued success. They needed an event icon as well as promotional materials including a website, postcards, auction brochure, and event signage. WBY works hard to educate local youth on the water crisis and, as part of their program, they ask for students to carry a bright yellow jerry can full of water for several feet. A full jerry can weighs over 40 lbs!
Delivering bites baked with love, this entrepreneur leverages the use of a charming candy cart to help market her delicious treats. I created the Sweet Sue's Treats identity including logos, color palette and other marketing collateral. I also photographed and designed various website imagery.
Shauna Dok is a personal fitness instructor who specializes in the MELT Method. She wanted an easy way to communicate her teaching style and class schedule as well as her availability for private instruction outside the club where she regularly holds classes. I designed and developed a brand identity that suited her business and a website that showcased both her fitness club affiliation and her private lesson availability. She also wanted to link her site to the MELT online store to give her clients an easy way to find essential MELT equipment. Next steps for Shauna include an email newsletter subscription sign up and a press room.
The Los Altos School District Junior Olympics is an annual track and field event for 4th, 5th and 6th graders. I updated the logo, created a website and streamlined multiple committee processes.
